MAP around the world

In spite of the fast development of the techniques of MAP, these ones stay more practised in developed countries than in the the rest of the world. The reasons of this variable development are inequal access to medical servicies, différences of reimbursment by social security, higher fertility rate and middle age for the first child which is lower in developing countries compared to developed countries.

In most of industrialized countries, 1 couples out of seven sees a doctor at least once for a supposed infertility.

The recourse and the access to the MAP is therefore variable in the different countries but also according to the different cultures and religious influences. Indeed, some of them seem more strict than others about MAP.
